Huge thanks to my husband for this shot. We went to The College of William and Mary, into Wren Hall and found a classroom.

It was full of these wood desks. More than 40 of them. My wonderful husband helped me move 39 desks (and a lectern) to the other side of the room so I could get this shot. He then proceeded to move the desk into many different positions to find just the right placement. Then he and my son helped me put them all back into place.

There was almost no processing done on this photo. No hue/saturation, no curves, just Topaz adjust/clarity, and cloning out something on the ceiling. I probably should have done some HDR on the windows so they weren't quite as blown, but I liked it better this way.

Sorry about the incorrect lens. Mine defaults to 100-400 and I forgot to change it. It was definitely the 10-22. :D

I think the windows are better “blown out”, it prevents the outside content from distracting from the room. What foliage detail is left gives subtle sense of over-growth like some lost school house in the woods. I am a huge fan of HDR and really like to see lots of detail but sometimes less is much more! Nice shot and huge thumbs up to your team for their support!

this nice perspective looks as taken with a wider than 100mm lens. the image info says "Lens: Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS". please confirm.

I really like the light captured. Your Topaz Adjust/Clarify did leave some halos that could have been masked out (i.e. the crown molding area) but otherwise I like the overall look.

One of my top two, sober lonely and rigorous. The frame is a bit too similar to the crown moulding for me, it seems to make a triangle on top that leads they eye off the page. Minor quibble in a major work.

Like this a lot except for the way the outdoor light was blended in with the indoor mood. I absolutely love everything about the indoors part of the image. The outdoors has that harsh light feel with some pinkish chromatic aberration when I look closely. An exposure with a faster shutter speed just for the outdoors would have made the blending a lot smoother. Still a great image and should do extremely well ... perhaps a ribbon.
