a bit out of focus, but nice subject. the date in the corner is distracting.

I LOVE this idea. I just wish the white balance had been better, and the flame more in focus. I don't think I need to mention the date stamp in the corner.
04/20/2002 09:29:00 AM
I don't see it in this photo.
04/20/2002 06:19:00 AM
Did you actually light yourself on fire? That's crazy. :)
04/20/2002 05:09:00 AM
Clever, very clever.....
04/19/2002 07:52:00 AM
cool ... or is that hot :) How'd you do that?
04/19/2002 01:35:00 AM
how'd u get that flaming thing on your t-shirt? this is not an altered photo is it?
04/19/2002 01:25:00 AM
never has his chest been so smooth
04/18/2002 03:15:00 PM
put the fire out
04/18/2002 07:04:00 AM
Ummmm is there a Dr. in the house? wish for more clarity
04/18/2002 01:23:00 AM
Would of been so much better with out the date. only thing else I can say is I hope you gave him something for this for lighting him on fire.
04/17/2002 11:45:00 PM
hope this gut is still alive
04/17/2002 05:34:00 PM
OK, if this is not scanned, then why would you choose to have a date plastered on the photo? That date stamp really kills an otherwise solid photo.
04/17/2002 05:20:00 PM
Ouch!
04/17/2002 01:15:00 PM
Fire is difficult to stop motion on, huh? If possible, maybe changing shutter speed or aperture to reduce the hot spot look of the flame. Did you think of calling it "heartburn?" :-)
04/17/2002 10:59:00 AM
i dont really understand how you did this. that doesnt affect my rating, though. also the motion aspect isnt clear. yes fire moves, but this fire looks blurred out.
04/16/2002 07:27:00 PM
Grain? 151? Nice effect!
04/16/2002 06:00:00 PM
odd, but cool. poor guy :)
04/16/2002 09:52:00 AM
Hope he recovered.
04/16/2002 09:05:00 AM
Poor guy--did he survive?
04/16/2002 06:52:00 AM
err. wake up!
04/15/2002 06:18:00 PM
This is frightening, therefore compelling. Extra points for emotional impact. But tell me please that no one was hurt doing this.
04/15/2002 06:14:00 PM
Turn your date function off.... Those are for snapshots. I think that a better solution could have been found for "stopped motion".
04/15/2002 04:01:00 PM
hot shot! original idea but subject not in charge hear
04/15/2002 12:09:00 PM
This doesn't have much impact for me. I would like to see the flames more crisp and defined, but that would probably make the rest of the image too dark. Maybe get some secondary lighting? Not having tried this, I don't know what kind of challenges this shot presented.
04/15/2002 09:48:00 AM
Are you crazy? LOL All you need is ALL that water I am seeing in the other shots this week:)
04/15/2002 09:27:00 AM
Wow, you lit yourself on fire
04/15/2002 08:54:00 AM
Is the guy ok? This just doesn't look safe. I just don't like it.
04/15/2002 08:31:00 AM
i'm very scared. this picture captures a great mood, but the date in the corner makes it look much too amateur.
04/15/2002 07:25:00 AM
dramatic, but not very well framed/ shot.
04/15/2002 05:22:00 AM
Oh man, the things we do for these challenges. Very original.
