 I had a really great idea for this challenge, however time didn't lend itself to prepare everything like I had envisioned in my mind. This was literally a last ditch effort, which shows. The focus is on the bubble and not of the "Everyday Object" (Bar of Soap), but it looked so cool I had to use it. Besides, all the other shots were terrible and I have no time left... :(

Wow, what a great composition. Slightly grainy for my tastes especially on the bar of soap, so for that, no ten, but a nine is what this great photo gets.

This is a "Wow!" photo. The detail in the bubble (and selected DOF) and the color just blow me away. The soft lighting in the background is great and the way the background fades almost seamlessly just adds to it. Excellent image overall. [9]

Nice job! I would have liked to see a clearer piece of soap. Maybe try a different apperture setting. etc f5.6. 10

Very cool concept! The shallow DOF works against you though, I think. I'd like to see the foreground bubble sharp all the way around. One of the more creative responses to this challenge though, nice going!

Very nice! I think that a slightly deeper DOF might have been better. The bar of soap being so out of focus is a little distracting. I really like the glowing blue shadows. Good job!

Nice color and bubble composition and depth.The bar of soap was a good choice, however, I would have liked to have seen it as the main focal point.

attractive colors but the subject of the photo should be in focus, more depth of field would have made this a much better shot

love the idea, color, composition and lighting. looking at it some more, i'd like to see the bar of soap a little over to the right - a different angle or a tighter crop? might balance the shot more. my top pick, this shot really stands out from the rest.
