Edit: post challenge

Wow my first ribbon :) :) :)

I was working in Anchorage and had the chance for a side trip the Homer Alaska. Normally you would find them in trees etc, but there are none on the Homer peninsula, but lots of fish and tall light poles. I was taking pictures of the one on the left as I saw the other approaching and just continued on shooting. This image was one out of the set.
Edit is simple, crop, saturation, USM and contrast adjustment.
Thank you for the comments.

Yikes! Those talons =:-O I do see Bald Eagles in relatively urban areas but usually in trees or way up in the sky. Congrats on finding some manmade context for these beauties!

Nicely captured. My only issue is the horizontal crop is a little tight and cramps your subject.

Definitely the best critter shot in the challenge, you cant beat eagles and getting two of them in range is a stroke of fortune, capturing them at just the right moment speaks of skill. My only knock is the saturation of the sky. I know this is the color of the sky when captured with long glass on a clear day, but it is just so jarring that I feel it hurts the image, the purity of the color wrestles the eye away from these magnificent birds. Had you muted the blue down a bit, or gone whole hog and converted to B&W (as I did with my much more prosaic bird shot with the over blue sky) it would have been the pick for the top spot. As is top five.
