Early morning expresso is one of the lesures I think I couldn´t live without.
The cup is bought on Campo di Fiore in Rome wich is one of my favorite city´s. So when I drink from it I can close my eyes and imagine I´m there.

Oh, nice shot! I would have liked to have seen this in a sepia tone, but I still love it.

Basically very good image, but all parts of it seem to have the same visual weight.

Wow, beautiful light, detail and composition. I'd like to have seen a little less stuff in the background though.

I would have liked this better as a still life.

This is tremendously stupendously great. The composition is fantastic. Gorgeous black and white processing job, please describe how you did the B&W conversion! (My mono images always feel so dead.) Look, I just noticed there is steam coming from the cup. That's a great detail.

I could question what the "everyday object" is here, but from the title it seems to be the fuel, the brewed coffee being poured into the cup. If this image were any less wonderful, I would knock off a point or two because I don't think a liquid is an 'object'. But in this case, I will make an exception, because everything else is absolutely perfect. 10!

I believe the lines of the spoon, the coffee bean bowl, the background glass and especially the pouring liquid direct my gaze perfectly to the cup (focal). What a great composer you are. My first 10 this challenge

This could have been "busy", but somehow your arrangement avoids it and turns out very pleasing. I like the amount of contrast and softness; gives it the warmth that the first cup in the morning gives you.

I love the smell of fresh brewed coffee. It's sorta strange because I don't care for the taste of it. This is an excellent black and white... nice work :) = 10

A subject which has been done quite often but you have managed to add something special to this.
Good lighting and exposure added to the composition.. which works well given how busy the image is..makes this one of the top shots so far for me.
