oh, and those kinky tendrils are indeed part of this mighty allium, and which I was at pains to show and of which I have no understandig.

Sort of looks liek a geode. But I am thrown off by what looks like a bit of metal near the bottom right. Is this the cross section of a vegetable like an onion?
