A worthy oobie, this - coming at the challenge idea from another angle, well done...

Well-done ... I had thought of using pomme de terre as the Earth element (but I ended up not submitting at all); glad to see someone had the guts to do so!

A group of us from Team Suck are reviving the OOBIE awards, and you're our second award winner! Here's more info if you need it: TS Oobie. Congrats!

When I first looked at this one, I couldn't figure out what in the world you were thinking! But on second glance, I realized just how clever it was, and the committee agreed. Nice way to fit the challenge and be out of the box at the same time. Clever and beautifully done!

Have an OOBie. :)

This is great. It's so creative. I really didn't get it at first - I just could not make the poulty work lol. I'm glad to see this type of thinking didn't do too bad here.

Hey, that's a very interesting take on the challenge. Maybe suffers a little in execution (that bulbous, albino chicken is sort of dominating the left side of the image), but still and all a very intriguing concept. I did not vote this challenge, so I had not seen this before now. Well done!

a few dnmc votes I guess, as many people predicted. Anyway, thanks for all your comments, more important to me than the score.

Very creative take on the topic! Not sure if everyone will get it or not. I'll be very curious to see the other comments.

there should be four elements not representation but work for me.

I like your thought process here... I can imagine though that some may DNMC you for this one. Nice too see something different though.

Why didn't I think of this? The idea surpasses by a notch the picture, as still life goes. 9

There were lots of entries of four glasses and sunsets over water. However, yours was unique and much more creative (and a very nice image)

Very nice interpretation of the theme. The light seems a little stark to me, though.

I didn't get this at first, and thought you'd completely missed the challenge. I'm SO glad you left the dirt on the potatoes, because it made me look again, think again, and go AHHH! This is one of my favorite images of the challenge. Very clever!

Creative take on the challenge. I'm sure you will get low votes from people who don't understand the concept. But I'm voting you high1

brillant idea, but the chicken could look more appetizing

I like when people play with the concept instead of taking a literal stance, nice shot!

Very creative interpretation. I like the grittiness of the image, although the poor chicken looks too "clean" :-)

Really cool and out of the box thinking but can chickens fly? They flutter a bit I know. If you could have gotten hold of a plucked pigeon or pheasant it would have made this really perfect. 7
