I was surprised at the smooth surface. The reflexion on the pin is an eye catcher. Like dagger wizing in the air and landing on target, your photo is a winner.

This is a fantastic composition. The lighting is excellent too, just right to highlight the transparent plastic but smooth and even. It's a bit grainy, but maybe that's the intended style. I might like it even more if it were really smooth and neat, but the graininess really works pretty well with the monochrome tones here. I predict top 50 for this one, if not better. 9

i spent hours trying to get a good photo of a tack... but i couldnt' make it work. i'm giving you a 10 for doing something i just flat-out couldn't do. :)
