The following link to a video for fun!
Many thanks to those who vote and comment!
About the wrong DQ: I did not use any editing tool to move the hummer. Why did anyone think I need to do the complicate process when a simple approach can finish?
In the proof description, I put "rotate; crop". Why do you guys ignore that?
Disqualification Details

So sorry about the DQ William. :-( I really don't agree with it at all as it was not a major element in the image to me, and we have all seen lots of cloning done in other images that have NOT been DQed. If the angle had been different and you had been able to crop it out, no one would be talking about what score it should receive depending on how "easy" or "difficult" it was to take the picture. Besides, I'm sure it was darn difficult to get that one! So, you can crop out a feeder and get a high score but if you clone out that feeder you get DQed - doesn't seem right some how. :-(
Regardless, excellent image and excellent PP!
Good point! and we know there is no outdoor flower in winter, and we know the only method is the feeder, and we know the feeder has been the traditional method for years. The two editing methods (crop and clone out) should have exactly the same emotional impact on the matter of "easy" or "difficult". Thank you so much for the comment!

So sorry for the DQ William. My take on it is that, in an effort to get everyone to play nice, DPC sets some rules that will sometimes burn people with good intentions too. We just have to accept that DPC has it's limitations and continue to enjoy what we do.
For what it's worth, this picture and the other disqualified hummer pic of yours are what I will compare every other hummer picture to from now on. And I believe setting that kind of a benchmark with your pictures is worth far more than getting a DPC ribbon for them.

I don't get it. According to the DQ thread your photo was disqualified for "cloning out a major element of the photo (specifically, a prominent bird feeder was cloned out of the original)." Are you saying that you didn't clone out a bird feeder, or...?
Anyway, it's a shame because it was a very nice photo.
It was the very beginning, I thought the DQ was caused by hummer which is my major element.

Sorry William !!! No need to take it so hard , I did the same thing with a bird in flight shot a while back & also got DQd in a FS and it did ribbon.
Just live n Learn... FWIW a damn good shot and my benchmark for Hummer shots.

Really sorry about the DQ, but based on the reason given I suspect you must have done more to the image than just crop and rotate. If that was a DQ'able offence then pretty much every image on here would be DQ'd. Still a great shot.
Congratulations. It's a great image. I'm glad to see your hummingbirds are still giving you such great material. I love your little video clip - terrific match up to the music.
I just happened to see a excellent episode of the program Nature last night, all about hummingbirds. I found links to watch the entire video, and also additional info (e.g. interview with the filmmaker) at this page.
Wow! She is right, hummingbirds are nature super heroes.

What can you say, this is simply the best. I could sit and look at this for hours. I bet the full size version is something to behold. Shivers, it gives me shivers. 10+
I know of only one person for whom the humming birds gladly pose :)
Crisp, Simple, and a terrific pose. My top5. An appropriate title too - second thing that came to my mind on looking at the picture (first being a 'ballerina')
