When I saw this weeks open challenge I new exactly what I was going to do. Try to take a pict. similar to all of those pict. in dessert recipe books.
I'm acctualy not quite happy with this shoot but unfortunetly I haven't got more time to work on it.

There are too many things on this shot, and I can't find a system in the composition. Why the cognac? Why the coffee? Why did you crop off from the chocolate? I Think a few bars of chocolate and one little flower would have done better. This way your photo is too busy and I don't find the main subject. Colours are great and I also like your background. (4)

A bit too many items fighting to be the main subject. The chocolate seems oof (perhaps it just needs some light to highlight it)

I tihnk if the lighting was more even the right lower side seems kind of dark I would like this picture better.

looks like you went to a great deal of thought on the composition but could not decide what to shoot so shot it all.....think it would of been more appealing if you had shot 1 or2 items only
