This looks like an abstract painting. :)

Nice catch, and a fitting title for it.
04/20/2002 05:00:00 AM
Wow, this is cool. Don't know what it is and some contrast would have been nice.

Interesting effect. Still too cliche
04/19/2002 07:26:00 AM
how did you do the spearing? is that a pipette tip? very creative indeed!
04/18/2002 06:19:00 PM
I am sorry but it does'nt look like you stopped the motion very well.
04/18/2002 12:57:00 PM
perfect framing, i'm not sure where the image texture is coming from, but it's distracting.
04/18/2002 08:18:00 AM
I'm guessing from the quality that this is a pretty radical crop of a larger image. In a way, it makes it more interesting - gritty - than a perfectly smooth image might be.

a beautiful photo...
04/18/2002 06:42:00 AM
great 'stopped motion' I love the shapes, but the clarity takes away from it.
04/18/2002 01:45:00 AM
looks out of focus and the and the subject is in the center but it dosen't exaclty run parralel to a vertical line, I'm not sure how you did this so I don't really know what else to say
04/17/2002 06:36:00 PM
Neat image but doesn't really say stopped motion to me.
04/17/2002 05:43:00 PM
Very interesting image.
04/17/2002 03:18:00 PM
how did you capture this shot?
04/17/2002 02:40:00 PM
I like the spaciousness of this picture.
04/17/2002 11:07:00 AM
fascinating image. very creative.

I like this picture! I really like the clean lines and simplicity of this photo. Good focus, centered, dramatic. Great title.
04/16/2002 05:34:00 PM
wonderful.

It is not imediately apparent what it is I am looking at, therefore what action is stopped. I have a feeling something has happened but I don't know what.
04/16/2002 12:26:00 PM
Very unusual and interesting photo. I like it.

This photo shows that a water shot can be very interesting. Did you rotate the photo 180 degrees? I rated this photo very high.
04/15/2002 06:23:00 PM
Interesting Photo

Ok.. I have spent a lot of time looking at this... It's an excellent shot. The top part of the image is a little out of focus. I'm bothered by the vertical lines in the image... I don't know why they are there. If they are there because of a scanner, then shame. If they were put there intentionally, then why? I thought for a moment that they may be part of a background but I can see them in the top part of the water as well and through the water.... I'll wait to see what happens on this one. If it stays, it's getting a decent score. Improvements would have been tighter focus on the top and removal of those verticals....
04/15/2002 04:42:00 PM
What is it?
04/15/2002 02:27:00 PM
Beautiful symettry and tones. Too bad the grace is spoiled somwhat by the resolution falling apart. Did that happen from enlarging it in the crop?
04/15/2002 02:11:00 PM
What interesting shapes!
04/15/2002 01:37:00 PM
This is so cool. It reminds me of mercury I played with when little. GREAT capture ! I'll be waiting to see what camera you used:)
04/15/2002 01:20:00 PM
it looks nice, is it really an action shot though?
04/15/2002 01:06:00 PM
I can't tell what I am looking at.
04/15/2002 12:43:00 PM
This is pretty cool! Nice shot!
04/15/2002 12:06:00 PM
Why is it fuzzy? Greater depth of focus would have helped.
04/15/2002 11:41:00 AM
Great shot.

Love it.
04/15/2002 11:01:00 AM
Incredible the design the water made. A little blurry
04/15/2002 09:31:00 AM
Looks like a scan, or there is a whole lot of vertical banding/ noise from your camera. Is a great shot if you did it, but a shame about the noise.
04/15/2002 08:46:00 AM
hhmm I'm trying to figure this out. Nice though
