 Tried to find this guy on BugGuide.net but the search feature isn't working for me this morning and there are too many thousands of beetles to search through!

So ... a cool beetle it is ;-)

Had 2 extension tubes on (36mm + 20mm) and used fill flash.

what a brilliant shot mary .. and he must be extremely tiny considering the extension tubes etc ..
reckon he'd look great on a t-shirt ... one that really cool young dudes wear .. lol .. !! .

Two things.. great shot of a very cool bug. And I never got sharpness like this using extension tubes. Nice!
