 This was a really hard challenge for me.

I love Nixter's work... but I always have a hard time shooting like someone else. I mean... I've worked so hard to try to shoot like me!

I hope Nixter's not offended by my work.

I'm sure Roz probably will be. She's so good at bugs. *SORRY ROZ!!*

It often amazes me what people think about topics. I understood this challenge topic as "Photograph something you like to photograph, and do it In the Style of Nixter's photographs."

Not "shoot something Nixter would shoot and process it as he would process it".

I do believe that if Nixter shot a butterfly, it would look a bit like this.

pps .. I did say some of your insects and portraits blew me away ..
don't get me started on all the other genres you 'do' so amazingly well .. we'd be here another week ..
and then the humour and personality in your photos ..
a real blast looking through your portfolio ..

was looking through your portfolio ..

my reason is that you had titled a photo without using numbers or letters .. I know I asked you some time ago how you did it and you explained ..

I couldnt find our pm where you explained it for me so I sent sc a pm asking how I could do it ..

this is what they said ..

"Do you have an example?
Anyhow, I suspect they circumvent the mentioned requirement as the encoding of symbols usually contains a numbers, and the system is not smart enough to check this."

which is why I went into your portfolio looking ..

it was going to take me a couple of weeks because you have SO many photos ..

also .. I saw so many that blew me away .. your insects especially lol .. but some of your portraits too ..

when I saw my name in the title of this pic of course I had to open it as I'd never seen it before ..

so thankyou for the compliment .. and you and Nick are right .. I do love it .. :)

anyhooo .. while I'm here could you point me to the pic where you didn't use letters or numbers so I can show Fritz ..

ps .. hope you're enjoying your current cruise .. you poor woman ..!!.. ;)
