| Well, words fail me that's for sure. Except to say that this deserves to win as an example of bravely excellent photojournalism and the words are all in the actions. Boy, am I lucky - this is tragic. |

My voting guidelines for this competiton:
Does the photo meet the challenge (does the photo contain words): 1-NO, 2-YES
1-NO
If you were to remove the words from the photo, is the photo itself interesting: 0-NO, 1-SOMEWHAT, 2-YES, 3-DEFINITELY

| Not a pleasant picture. A lower score from me not because of the photo, but because there are no words. I understand the point, but the challenge specifically requires words. |

| I guess no words can adequately express one's feelings when looking at this poor man, but the challenge was to include a word in the photo, so sadly I will have to mark this down. |

"Take a photograph where complete words -- not just individual letters -- play a creative role in your composition." Regardless of the story the image tells, this does not meet the challenge.

| Great image - I want it to have a word in the traditional sense of a "word". However, after reviewing all of the other photos, I have decided that this is wonderful and does not need a word because it says so much. 10 from me! |

| I'm usually very relaxed when it comes to the whole meeting the challenge issue, but the challenge description cleary said you were to have WORDS on your photograph. This would do good on a National Geographics type of challenge, but not on the Words challenge. |

| I understand the picture as "speechless" And this is an incredible picture. Just doesn't have words in it. And from my understanding we had to have words in it. I am however giving you a 7 cuz I like the picture itself. |
