Perhaps not all that famous. And I didn't get the tidepool (that happens in the morning, not in the evening where I was) and I added people... I tend to like doing that. But I did try to get some decent tones. As to why I was shooting at ISO 400 into the sun? Your guess is as good as mine! :-)

I know this will bomb. But my teammates, bless their hearts, have been SO supportive of my poor attempts during this DPL thing that I will enter on their behalf, just to support those who will score well. Go whoever we are! (Viewfinders - that's it!)

Shot at 5:30 pm, by the way. We'd wandered to see the beach but had to go back for dinner. :-)

This would look fantastic as a large print. I love it! It's also getting me excited because we leave for the beach in a week.

Nope, really it just plain sucks. Light is harsh, composition is completely uninspired. Waste of digits, actually. But thanks for the nice words.

Pffffft. . . this is so underrated. I'm going to love getting to see your take on beach photography. It has an arty, almost urban feel to it.
