Post Challenge.

Woooo-Hooo. Finally get the illusive Blue. Collection is complete!

Two top-10's in the same week. Could there be a third? Can only hope.

Set a hunk of wood at the edge of my deck. Seeded the area with peanuts and waited. This was actually one of the very first shots (of a hundred) that I took. Had to push ISO a little due to the evening shade. Was washing dishes when I saw him. Had to rush over to the other window to shoot this. We live in a neighborhood, but our backyard borders a state park. No shortage of wildlife here (deer, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, turkeys and the occasional skunks and groundhogs).

Thanks All!

Lovely to see a four thirds sensor coming n first place, the E-30 is simply one of the best cameras made.

I'm a little late in my congrats, but I'm so glad this won!! As one of the rodent entries, I was very disappointed to see this shot, because it was so incredibly wonderful!! I gave it a 9 (crazy me, in retrospect it should have been a ten.)

Excellent picture, love his full cheek. Love the log (I'll have to steal that idea). Perfect in every way. Congrats on a well deserved blue!!

15 people who took the time to congratulate a blue ribbon winner. (take away us Oly oops and it's down to 10 people on a site that has hundreds of users)

What has happened to this site?

I smell sour grapes.

Huge win Stan, huge. It's what gave us the win and kept us undefeated.

Sorry Scalvert. Actually shot with the 50-200, which IS 400mm (max equivalent). Corrected the posting. Hope that's not violation enough to strip my ribbon. ;)

Congrats on YOUR (most recent) blue!

Its a shame there were so many squirrel and nut entries in this challenge as its likely to drag the score down on this fine entry. the colors are lovely and the DOF was handled perfectly

Outstanding detail. I'll bet that didn't take long for him to get the bait.

Chipmunks are so cute :-) Looks like he's already completely filled one side of his cheek! Lovely detail and the green sets him off beautifully.
