I am so glad for the wonderful comments and the overall acceptance of this image!
This was just a simple moment from an amazing trip to Istanbul this Easter, and I was lucky to take many photos in one (if not the ONE) of the most photographic places worldwide.

I actually like the basic processing better than the advanced processing. Gives me more of a sense of time and place.

This truly is a wonderful image. :)

i like how you framed this. at first i thought the empty opposing chair should be seen. but on second thought. having the other half of the table cut off. well it adds to the feeling of being lonely.

very nice

One of the best pictures I've ever seen. Absolutely beyond ribbons. The only reason I'm staying in DPChallenge is to vote pics like this. Well done my friend, I'm proud of you.

The window becomes a painting she is part and not part of. She sits in that limbo also called waiting.

I can't choose so three Posthumous Blues.

This photograph is brilliant! The scenery, tones and emotion are perfectly captured. Sorry, there's nothing I could suggest to improve this image. I expect to see this on the front page. Well done.

After finishing my voting and reviewing the scores I could not justify not bumping this up a notch and this will be my only 10 for the challenge.

I'm guessing this will come 1st in the challenge.

Wow!!! Truly fantastic shot! Unfortunately I'm not voting on this one -- I wish I could give it a 10!

Ok, so some of us are going to guess 1st through 5th place. This is my guess for 2nd!

I really like this picture. I don't know that I like the washed feel to it though. Maybe that was intentional but just a tad darker would have made it better for me.

Perhaps the empty chair to the left could have added to the feel Still has a nice story

I like this photo, the colors are nice and the comp is great. I'm undecided if the contrast should be bumped a little, either way, its really nice 8.

This is a very nicely seen image...I would, however, take a little off the top to get rid of the distacting light fixture and redirect the eye to the woman sitting. 8

I am saving my high scores for images that convey waiting without the title spelling it out for me. This is one of those images. Great shot. Is this Istanbul?
