 Flowers....go figure.

Post: Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0.
Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation.
Spot heal/cloned dust and small distractions on the petals.
Cloned out ripples of material on the bottom right corner and burned between the stems.
Remove color cast.
New layer of levels resetting black point.
Color curves adjustments to lighten shadows.
Adjust sharpness.
Layer of Hue/Saturation to desaturate a bit.
Resize.
USM.

The flowers are pushed to the edge of looking fake and I like it. Especially the veins in the pedals. Very nice!

So, I am extremely jealous of this photo. I love photographing flowers and personally think I have achieved some very nice shots of them. But never have I taken a photo with this much focus and detail! Fantastic colors and lighting as well! 9
