Compositionally interesting, but very disorienting to me. The light/dark and lines/angles do give this photo some added impact, and the subject is well suited to the challenge. lhall

Crop too tight, can't tell what this is and if it is level or slanted. Good focus and good color. Just can't tell anything else about it. Might be a wonderful shot but it wasn't executed well enough to say so. Sorry. PTL

Intriguing shot. Great composition.

This one would look great hanging in a gallery. So much depth.
11/21/2002 10:38:00 AM
Would have gotten higher points for focus. Nice view nice composition

I really like the perspective of this shot. Good job. 9. byetko.

Wow, what a great shot. everything is sharp and the colors are bright. I like the angle you used.

I don't know where you're from but somebody really needs to show the local engineers what a spirit level is!
Nice picture, maybe a bit too chaotic (but you can hardly be blamed for that). I do like the angle you've used.

Nice idea but a bit too busy and the foreground pipes should be in sharper focus. I like the angle of the image.
11/20/2002 02:27:00 AM
Interesting composition and colour! I like it. I'm wondering if you shot it at this angle, or if you rotated and cropped the original. Either way, it was a good choice!

Nice angle. It really gives a whole new "spin" to the photo. Excellent!

This is really terrific! Turning the camera for the diagonal was a super idea too. It gives the pic that little extra umph. The little bit of color in the picture adds to it as well, although I think it could also work in grayscale. Either way a good shot. Focus is a little soft in front, it works but I'd like to see it all crisply focused.

Wow. There's lots going on there. Never really thought about it before. -9-

I like the variety of thickness of line (pipe) in this. It makes a nicely balanced pattern. Curiously, it has no depth despite all those overlapping objects. The dashes of orange work well with the grey.
11/19/2002 04:53:00 AM
Nice patterns made by the lines. A few focus issues that should be addressed though. It sort of lacks any real dominant focal point, imo. Good idea - Inspzil

neat perspective!
11/18/2002 10:57:00 PM
Very smart angle - at first I didn't know what orientation the pic was taken at, until I saw the stairs. Makes for a good overall image, very tech, pretty good!

Love the composition here...8

A very engaging abstract shot. Your eye just doesn't know where to rest! Too bad weather didn't give you a nice blue sky, with clouds. Good composition.
11/18/2002 09:22:00 PM
wow, made me think for a second. Well shot, meets the challenge
11/18/2002 09:17:00 PM
nice

Nice lines and angles as a whole. I find the fact that it was tilted 45 degrees a bit disorienting. Jacko.
11/18/2002 04:46:00 PM
Nice. I think being close or a tighter crop would of helped focus the eye better for a more pleasing shot. Justine.

Wow, what a maze, great angle! CreativeDotCom

Cool shot! Great abstract...seems a tad oof and and overexposed. One question...how did you get into a plant with a camera?!! Lisa
11/18/2002 10:49:00 AM
I would have like to see a sharper focus on this picture.
11/18/2002 01:29:00 AM
interesting angle.... adds to the photo

Hmm first thought would have to be busy... The focus could have been a little better, I like the shot though. It gives you a lot to think about while you look at it. REally neat looking.
