Revisiting this site and its images. This has to be one of the most beautiful portraits I've ever seen. The focus, DOF, subject, and composition are literally perfect. I love it Judy. Well done.

Well done! Beautiful portrait of this lovely little girl. Lighting is soft and wonderfully done to show off her beauty. Her expression also captures the attention. Love that little smile - akin to the Mona Lisa smile in that we wonder just what she is smiling about. What does she see or is thinking: is she looking out the window thinking of all the fun she is going to have in the snow or looking out the window with satisfaction of the snowman she built or perhaps thinking of a nice warm cup of hot chocolate when she gets back in the house:-)

I really like this, just wish it were a bit brighter. I high key, high contrast version of this would be awesome.

Lovely cute portrait. I am positive the parents are ecstatic over it. However for me, it just doesn't do it. it is a common style and offers me no added interest. The clarity and focal range is nice but I feel could be moved forward more. It is almost lost on the far side which we barely see. The tonal quality is nice but perhaps could be pushed a bit more.

Beautiful portrait. I love the light vignetting.

Came back to bump this score up some . A very deserved 10 , everything about this pic is fabulous and the choice not to have colour is inspired. If this doesn't ribbon there is no justice a beautiful portrait.
Post actions
Magnificent! First ten I've given in a long time. BOL

Overall very grey but it works. I like the look on her face.

This so far my second favorite portrait from this challenge

Great image. The look, the personality and the BW really make this an amazing shot. 10!

This shot is incredible... The crop is perfect. The emotion in her eyes is overwhelming. I think I recognize this little girl (and therefore her photographer, but I'm not 100% sure). Regardless, this is one stunning image. I fully expect to see this on the front page when voting is done. Beautiful work.
