Thanks Jaime. Your comment alone validates this image for me. I know the shoehorn police will probably have a field day with this.

Post-challenge: I had no idea a 6.3 would score an HM, but Wow!. Very happy with the placement.

This yet another shot from the shoot with Scarbrd, JaimeVinas and Stanmoore - great day, good shooters and excellent models.

This shot was taken from the interior of an old, abandoned military ammunition bunker. In the full shot, there are two vampires laying in wait for this young lovely.

Several people commented on the rose - the rose was black - there was no red in it.

Not a ton of editing on this, mostly slight adjustments in ACR. I would've liked to have been able to lighten the shadow on her face, but this was basic.

This should have ribboned. It is a shame that some of the people voting on DPC can not get their heads out of the little box they live in and really look at a photo and understand it before they decide to give it a very low score. 15 votes below a 4 and still managed to make the top 5. That tells me that alot of people here have no idea what they are doing.

Anyway Congrats on the 4th place and even more so on taking an outstanding photo.

airy; like it; wish the rose was more red (at least highlighted)

I like the dreamy quality of this. The pale colors really fit the mood.

Love the artistry of it but don't get "love" out of it. Terrific and artful image though.

Nice work

A couple months ago I processed a shot very similarly, but knew it was lacking the human element. Your photo has everything mine was lacking. The dappled lighting on your model is fantastic. Truly an inspiration.

Great photo, but I'm feeling pretty obligated to DNMC it because it doesn't show anything about love. There's just "love" in the title. You could have taken a picture of a shoe and titled it "I love my shoe" and it wouldn't have been any different. Ok, wait, I just noticed the rose. That saved it. It suggests someone loves her and that she may beel the same way.

I love the light.

Lovely lighting and composition

This is a very beautiful and intriguing image, but without the title, I don't think this conveys the challenge topic as well as I'd prefer. Her expression seems wistful, maybe even borderline indifferent, but not loving or love inspiring. But like I said, I like this image anyway. The light is interesting and I'm a fan of the muted colors.

Man Tommy, this image is awesome! I cant vote since I recognize the photo ;)
This is as good as David's ;)

It would be ironic to see both of you ribbon :)
