i went out on the only day i had to shoot for this challenge, unfortionatly it was a wet and rainy day. i went to this spot because, well one i love to shoot decay and trains and such things but also because i have had some luck there before.
anyway for this photo i used a trypod and took six different exposures and combinded then together in photomatrix and applyed tone mapping to the image.
i then opened the photo in cs4 for some more work,
levels (a few times)
hue/sat (desat/a few times)
bright/contrast
highbypass filter
dodge/burn
masking,
noise ninja
resize/ save
i really love how this turned out and hope many others feek the same happy holidays!

Congrats on your blue. Just curious though...are you running out of things to shoot in Philly? LOL. I KNEW I'd seen this somewhere before. :)

There have been a handful of images I've pegged as being NikonJeb's, but now that I've found a train, I'm pretty sure I've found him too : ) If not, good mimicry! Great detail and leading lines.
