Well Chewie the Bite Your F*****G Finger Off Fish, it's official name, has been sitting around...I mean really sitting around, look at the dust!...for a while...a LONG while and I thought it might be something different for the Science challenge. A lot more editing ability would have remedied some of the distracting dust or you could say it is a nice OLD specimen. thx!

A great close up of a very effective predator. There are quite interesting patterns here and a kind of quaint fierce beauty. Quick, deadly, perverse Fish best suited to be studied from a distance.

I would like to see more detail in the left hand side and a little less light on the teath as they look washed out. (Plus it needs a dust :))

Does ichthyology mean the study of scary old fish? I like the black background, wish there wasn't so much dust on the fist (eye especially) but overall a cool shot!

Argh, this one had quite an effect on me :) Very good definition, albeit a bit with a yellowish tint.

Nice shot and researched title. Would have liked to have a seen a bit more light on the front side but this lighting emphasises the teeth.
