Nice use of an ethernet cable. I think the background is a little too predominate in this one. As much as im down with the mark of the beast, its just too distracting.

I like the classic 9's in the drop but I'm not understanding the use of the telephone/network cable. It seems really out of place but maybe I just don't understand some subtle connection to 9?

I really like this idea and you've executed it brilliantly to make a really interesting photograph.

I'm intrigued to know what the fluid is you've used. It looks like water, but it must have been really tough to pull that shot off!

Also, the ethernet cable end is a quirky and novel item to use, but adds to the character of the photo.

Fittingly, I scored a '9'.

This is a very, very common subject and technique on DPC that is often well-executed. This one is lacking in the fact that the sixes are much more prominent in the image than your nines, even though the wonderfully, crisp focus is right where it needs to be. I think a tighter crop would have better accentuated the proper portion of the image. As it is, the background competes far too much with the subject. For the crisp focus and excellent detail, I score this one a 5. Even though this has become one of my least favorite techniques on this site, with a tighter crop I would have scored this one stronger.

I really like this shot. It would have been better if the drip was coming off something more photogenic.
