Commenting as part of my Team Suck duties...

First... welcome back to the fold after serving your suspension...

A good capture, however, I think you've tried too hard to make it look like HDR... the overstauration, the haloing, the black grittiness... while all these are characteristics associated with HDR, they're not things that improve the image. I think there's stuff HDR processing can bring to an image w/o having to adopt these HDR cliche elements (IMO).

Well into the top half. a strong showing. Sk8er boy did well for you. You need to make sure he gets a large print of this.

Lots of saturation. Not sure this subject is easy, nor plausible, for multiple image HDR blending.

Nice example of HDR of a single image... Love the stopped motion and the details .

I like how the skater seems to be flying at me. Great details.

The sky looks good. I get 10% commission of your votes as payment for my pre-challenge feedback. (I'm skipping the vote on this one, natch.)

Added: Just passing through while voting. Don't mind me...

Too much halo from the trees and person.

Great colors and HDR. One of the best in the challenge... 7/10

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion

Your photo receives:

7 - but could have been a 3. It's a little strong, and is the first photo I had to actually debate myself on my reaction.

Nice use of HDR to bring out the gritty details in the board and the ramp. Good action capture.

much to over processed for my taste, try a more natural look next time

This has a feel of a single capture, I could be wrong, that has been processed to get the HDR which is fair enough but it has very little impact IMO
