Oh it's an assassin bug! I'm kinda fascinated with these scary things. This one is also known as a wheelbug because of his back. The fang you mention is actually a big honkin' sucker that he sticks in his victims to slurp out their innards. Be careful, some people claim that when they bite humans it causes nerve damage.
