Hi from the Critique Club
You asked for your shot to have a comment by one of the members of the Critique club
Lovely shot, i really like it.
The comments that you have received pretty much tell you all you need to know with this shot. A fast shutter speed would maybe illuminate the blurry boats. A little more saturation or selective colour would have given your colours some more depth. You have some in camera splotches in the top left corner that you could clone in in Advanced editing.
Overall a pretty shot, well done |

| Focus is a bit soft here and there. Not sure why, unless the focus point was placed out too far and the nearby subjects are in front of the DOF plane. |

| Not sure whether the boats moved or the camera (probably the boats) but stillness is critical with HDR, or very fast motor wind with very fast exposures. Even then... |

| Another fantastic shot in HDR II, competition is gonna be tough in this. Colors are amazing, reflection is perfect, lighting is perfect. Boats are blurry in some parts but I love that the most about them, weird grain on boat reflections in bottom left, but I can look past that. Fantastic shot! 7/10 |

| The reds come out over-done on the blurry foreground boats. Nice reflections of the lights in the water. |

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:
1 - Not HDR in my opinion
3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion
5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion
7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion
10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion

| Beautiful colors. I think I would have tried to crop out the boat on the right though. Being that it is so blurred with motion it stole my eye away from the main image within seconds |
