I voted this a 7 .... I really liked the fact that the HDR was not over the top .... that grates on me and although it might have it's place, your shot showed what HDR can do when used with a good eye and a light hand.

Commenting as part of my Team Suck duties...

This is a stunning image and really deserves to have finished higher (IMO). It's yet another example from the Team Suck how to do HDR well... how to use the technique without overdoing it. Details and colours are brilliant.

I really liked the textures and clarity of the shot. Gorgeous capture of light. This is really well done and should have finished higher.

Robert, sorry this didn't score higher for you than it did. SO many images that were poorly tonemapped ahead of you. Seems so wrong. Apparently the votes like halos and other such things. Sorry about that, yours was so much better than 37th place.

Pretty good. I don't think the frame helps, as I'd rather see more of the image. Not sure HDR gave you a lot of help here. It is fairly natural looking for a golden hours image.

Beautiful light. Would be interested to see the middle original on this one (if multiple).

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

Excellent processing, well done. Lovely. ETA: I re-read the comment and just wanted to say, I wasn't just scoring this based on the processing!

More color in the sky or a more dramatic sky would make this a winner, great shot
