 Hey thanks everyone for the great votes and comments.
This is a standard lamp with a fluted shade. It's cylindrical in shape with circular holes top and bottom. The shade itself is some sort of plastic with a satin finish and is actually a plain cream colour. It stands on a goose neck brushed stainless steel stand.

this is superb...one thing...I would have cropped off the small gold curve on the bottom of the picture...(that doesn't count against you...) it just doesn't add to your picture
