I love the look of the rocks and how the water just fades away. LOL about the kids. I think we may have seen them a couple of times before ;) |

I quite like the painted water. This shot definitely pulled some good comments from folks, too! |

Great pic for the family album. Casual, natural, unposed. |

Would that be the same "Indian Lake" as the rock song ad? Nice shot. I agree about the perspective. It almost looks like a cut and past from two different images - the rock clues and height cues are just wrong! |

This has a surreal feel to it, I think because Aiden is smaller than Rowan, the perspective is playing tricks with my eyes! A very cool photo. |

Ahh yes - Lake Oblivion. I've lost many a pet there. ...and a few of my enemies as well. ;-)
Great job Tim. |

love the way the background has a misty feel and how your kids stand out against it ..
i dont know why, but it reminds me of a fantasy in some ways .. the girl looking back at you and the boy intent on something in the distance .. would make for a good story .. would look good hanging on a wall too .. !!! |

I see surrealism. The boy could be much taller than the girl, & he's wearing a more dominant color, but the flattening effect of the camera & the light puts him on the same plane as the girl, & makes it all very...surreal. And of course there's the obvious metaphore of the kids on the rocky, interesting shoreline of childhood gazing out at the flat, horizonless vista of their future. The girl is looking over her shoulder, perhaps in farwell or perhaps in regret. The boy is looking for a boat & a breeze. Anyway, I realize these are your happy, contented kids, don't mean to say anything that will upset you, this is just what I see. It is a very evocative shot, for me. [eta] I don't see a snapshot, though. "D
