Challenge: It's All About Position (Advanced Editing VII*)
Collection: Portfolio
Camera: Casio Exilim Pro EX-P600
Location: home studio
Date: Jul 21, 2009
Date Uploaded: Jul 21, 2009

I saw that there were only 20 submissions to this contest so I though I'd throw something in. Setup a makeshift studio: bucket of water, office lights, tripod, stool, rocks.

This was done with the Casio Exilim coupling mode (shoots one side and then the other and combines it into one exposure in camera). Shot the toothbrush flailing in the water, and then a rock dropping in for the splash.

I'm leaving on Thursday to go hiking, so I won't get to see how this one ends up until a week later!

Enjoy.

Sorry about your DQ. Yeah, Multi Exposures in camera have been off limits even in advanced for quite a while. Apparently the feeling was to keep everyone on an even playing field since not all cams have the capability. I always wanted to try to do one on my Nikon D200 and never bothered because of the rule change.

Good concept. I do see blurring around the bristles. Color contrasts make it appealing to the eye.

a little too blurry on the brush head for my taste maybe a little more light would have helped to increase the shutter speed. interesting Idea thou but just missed in my opinion.

i like this - just the bristles being a bit blurry that distracts my eye. but like the concept
