I'm not sure about the never seen but I like the top part of the photo because the beams are spread out enough. At the bottom there is too much going on for me.

The brighter beams further back in the scene add enough depth and pop to keep this from being a mundane photo.

Ok, I've never seen that roof before but have seen many a roof at dpc and web like ones to boot. I'm not sure about your choice of colour here and think it lacks some contrast. Is this a non cliche (yes), unique image (maybe) that would wow viewers? sadly no imho.
