I love the gradiation of tones here. Beautifully composed and really a brilliant image. I love the story here, too. |

I wonder how many trips like this he's made in his lifetime. The solitude that this image creates is quite moving Germaine. Brilliant! |

its a great shot germaine ... i love the ripples formed by the oars leading away from the boat..
takes me back to my childhood .. my stepfather had a yacht and we had a dingy just like this one ..

Definitely looks the part of the character out of the Old Man and the Sea. B&W is perfect here as is the composition. |

I like it! He has a bit of an Earnest Hemmingway look to him. For some reason I get the feeling that something bad is about to happen... |
