Meet Tycho, my 11-year old. She is very tiny, still only about 7.5 pounds, and has the cutest markings. She's a moody thing, though :-) Unless I am willing to walk around with her perching on my shoulder, she pretty much doesn't want anything to do with me. Guess she has a height complex...;-)
This is an old image taken with my DSC-F707, so I couldn't process it to the degree of the last cat shot because the detail just isn't there...but I love this pose, so here it is.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW Bunny paws. Sweeeet. She does have AWESOME markings. I had a tuxedo kitty once and she had a heart on her nose. Tycho looks like she is perfectly comfortable in her own fur. This is truly a marvelous portrait. I want to hug her and put her over my shoulder.

Beautiful mood to this - one of the times I think fade to black really does work well to enhance that. And yes, an incredibly cute pose!

She does have great markings ! This pose is very sweet-the paws do it for sure !
You asked if I had a specific photo I wanted to change BG to black & I really don't- I figured out how to do it now anyway :) I much prefer darkening the original BG to get this look. Thanks, Collen !

Your cat portraits are wonderful, esp because they all seem so comfortable with the camera. "D
