Taken in the petting zoo where I'm visiting. This rooster was cruising up the walk towards his roost (a room camera left) as if to say 'Look, buddy, you can take all the pictures you want, but this is still my walk and don't you forget it.' Kind of Clint Eastwood-like.

What a fantastic find! Brilliant, though I would love the see this taken from a lower perspective as well... roosters just have that air about them that they have to be on top of the world and I think a lower perspective might exaggerate this...maybe it's just me....

gotta say roger, that on my home monitor that's been calibrated with spyder3 this looks BRILLIANT .. !!!
you have succeeded in creating a fantastic image even tho you didnt have your full 'kit' ..
i love that lone rooster ... looks like he's just going for a stroll .. almost human .. (that could be just me imagining that .. the human rooster!!..).. the lighting is perfect .. :)

He really does look like he owns the place - very good composition to give us that feeling, especially since he's such a small part of the picture, and yet such a big part of it (if that makes sense!)
