Thanks to everyone who voted and commented!
There seems to be some polarization on the subject of whether the security guard adds or subtracts from the shot. Personally, I liked him in it but could have submitted it either way - I have a clean shot without him after he crossed the frame. Actually, the guard was a pain (although very polite) because he wouldn't let me use my tripod. I got a couple of long exposures in before he braved the rain and asked me to put it away. |

Great shot! Nice strong center focus, I love the square windows on the one side and the arches on the other. The reflections from the recent rain really add to the moment. The thing that makes this shot is the cop walking across the foreground. Great job. 9 |

Lovely balance of lighting, not keen on the chap in the foreground, if he had been lit by flash maybe ? overall very good picture. |

So wanterd to do this when I was last there but I just got tuckered out and never made it. Rats. Wonderful image. Shame that cop]/guard had to be moving. sort of disctacting....However the centering of the fountain could be moved by cropping the cop/guard out and making a compensating crop at the bottom. |

Great lighting and focus. I think i would have gone for off-center with the fountain. |

very nice composition. i really like the reflections off the wet pavement. i like the 2 people standing by the fountain, but i find the person in the foreground a little bit distracting. |

I like the wet courtyard - this does wonders for this shot. IMO the security guard walking from the right is distracting. |

it'd be better without the foreground person on the right. |

What a wondeful picture! but the police officer could go and take a walk else where, i know its difficult to keep people out of the front of the camera but could have tried to do that, but nice picture anyways! keep it up! |
