At first I had the recycle logo with grass printed on a transparancy, cut a hole in the middle and hung the bulg with a fishing line through this hole.
After some discussion in our DPCO-4 Globetrotter groupd, the conclusion was that the grass looked too artificaial.

So I needed to use real grass.
I cut the logo out of the clouds card board, lay it on some lawn, hang the bulb in the center of the logo.
I tried lighting the scene up with a flash bounced off a reflective umbrella, but the shadow was too harsh, making it look fake again. Oh, yeah, I also needed to difuse the sunlight with one of these big round difuser/reflector thingy.
The part I don't like too much: there is a small little brown grass in the left side arrow. I took it away and tried to reshoot - I could not make it look exactly like this one again- centered and straight. The wind outside was swinging the bulb too much. I will probaly hear much about this distracting feature. Oh well. I noticed, I tried. Did not work.
Here the result.

Then I tried to reshot and add some water drop to it so I can call it Earth Air Water.
While I was setting up the final composition - trying to get the bulb into the middle and straight, the little ant walked right over the "sky". Couldn't help but pull the trigger regardless of where the bulb was.
I wish I could have gotten the bulb centered and straight, oh well.
I hope you like the set up.

I like the idea and it's pretty well executed here. The colors are rather subtle, but I won't say that is a negative at this point.... is it just me or is the light bulb off center? I think in such a composition it would be better off being centered.

Wow, didn't even notice the ant until the 3rd time viewing this photo. Interesting shot, almost has a funky Pink Floyd album cover feel. Well done...
