 I don't know why I do this when my average is finally about to break a 5.30 for the first time. Actually, I do know why. It's because I have too much fun with these shoehorns and gag entries.
Inspiration for this entry was my outtake from last years marshmallow peeps challenge:


I think that one actually had a creepier feel to it, but I was not quite able to fully recreate the look. I retook my shot and got much closer to what I had wanted. I also bribed my wife with a Starbucks Chai-Latte to make a better brown ribbon for me. The first one was a really pathetic effort with a brown pipe cleaner, though I think the position of the shoehorn was a little more menacing:



Pre-challenge notes:
I'm gonna get creamed (again). The success of one of my shoehorns is not measured in score, however. It is measured in the number of comments, including the ones that say they just don't get it. Probably good for a high 4 to a low 5, a mid 5 being a dream score for this.

Post-challenge notes:
Came in as predicted, but I'm mostly disappointed in the amount of comments this brought in. I guess in a challenge with such a dark theme, my gag entry went over worse than usual.
