Going out on a limb here. I don't do Self Portraits (rarely do portraits) and my lighting set-up is a long way from ideal, but hey, another excuse to submit something different and hear what people have to say on this one. Not really happy with the shaddows. I wanted Shaddows cast, just don't like the ones that resulted

Don't expect anything great from this, but being a Speed Challenge, at least I am in, and it is different

Pulling the subject off the background mroe would have eliminated some of the shadows.

You can hardly see a tack. When a challenge is about tack, it should have been more prominent and should take larger area of the picture. Also, watch for te shadows.

Might have cropped a little tighter at the top. The shadows detract from an otherwise good shot.

A technical success, it's less than successful in an artistic sense. The subject is less than interesting and overly relies on the person and not the tack. A little more thought and better framing would have brought the rating higher.

I'm not liking the shadows or background, but the focus and composition is good.

Background being too sharp and shadows from the flash are not great elements here.
