Post challenge.

I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful comments and for the great score. I did this image for Shez because I really do miss her around here and I think she just adds so much to the overall happiness of the site. She is a wonderfully talented women and an inspiration to me to always keep going no matter the situation your in and to do your best to stay positive. Shez you may be a "little person" but you have the largest heart of anyone I know. I would be honoured to meet you some day and I'm quite envious of anyone who's had the incredible priveladge.

Three things that make me proud of this image: 1 Shez picked it as a favorite 2 it was so well received by almost everyone on DPC and 3 this comment by Art Roflmao"The only thing I don't like about this is that I didn't think of it. A great tribute entry!"

Interesting shot although it doesn't work for me. But I have to say... the sharpenings look like nuts you'd get from McDonald's Sundays.

Hey! I'll feel guilty if I give this one a bad score. No fair!

A very creative look at colored pencils - the image meets the subject matter and with a certain cheeky attitude. A terrific demonstration of the creative process in meeting the challenge. Should be a sure bet to win a ribbon or place high as a top twenty image. A couple of minor detail problems not worth mentioning because they don't appear until you really get a critical eye and examine the image closely. Well done.

Not sure what/who Shez has to do with anything...makes it harder to relate to the photo.

Hopefully this will be on the front page as a big "we miss you" to Shez. But, sentiment aside, I really like this photo. The haphazard dropping of the pencil shavings is great and the action produced is really nice. Even if it were a different message I would still like it. 9 for the picture and 1 more because we really do miss Shez and you cared enough to tell her! 10
