I love your portraits. Excellent use of contrast and light. Your portraits shows inside and soul.

Hey Aaron, I am new here, but I just finished voting on over 200 pictures and not one got a one or a two or a three. I have looked at your photo. It is sharp and it even has some drama going for it, you know with one eye blocked. Now, who would give a one or two is beyond my comprehension. It seems that other motives are at play. Just keep up the nice work and forget about it.

Wonderful lighting - the capture of the eye color is great. The use of the hat heightens the effect of multiple sources. I'm not fond of the pattern on the shirt as the white pops a little too much for me, but an extremely well executed shot.

The lighting is very nice, and he has a great expression. From a costumer's stand point, he'd look more evil without the white undershirt, and either dark blue or black, but not both, maybe red instead of the blue?

Did they wear pyjamas in the old west? ;)

A little disturbing for me - that one eye is spooky! But the shadow and light play work well to add to that (I hope that's what you were aiming for).

He looks like a used soul dealer. Nice.

Great shot. Looks just a touch oversharpened. -9
