 First of all, thanks for the comments, fav, votes and for the fantastic score.

This image is just so “clich”, I have to smile every time I look at it ;-)
I bought some tulips to try and get something for this challenge (the thought of tulips with water drops on them hadn’t even crossed my mind). I soon discovered that getting good photos of tulips isn’t as easy as I thought.

After trying for ages and ages, getting nowhere and slowly getting to screaming point I, like a madwoman ;-), sprayed and sprayed the last remaining tulip with water and took one shot of it.

I thought to myself “I’ll enter it and if the worst comes to the worst, it’ll be my first brown ribbon”. Can’t say how shocked I was when I saw how amazingly high the first votes were…..

THANKS for the ribbon, I'm so thrilled.

I'd have to say that your skills reveal themselves in more than just fluids Irene. I'd also dare to say that you "own" the Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f2.8D. Congrats!

Beauty, eh? Love the colors, drops of water, composition is not original, but I like it.
Sharpness/DOF not quite where I would like it, but that could be limitations on file size/JPG compression. Solid 8...
