Still think this should have won. Certainly no way it deserved to placed lower than my entry did... If I'd taken this it would be framed and on my wall...

The vertical seam running down the wall along the leftmost edge of the curve is distracting, I'd try moving the framing a little to shift their relative locations

Pretty clean. Another angle would be more interesting, IMO, and the shadow (R) and crease (L) on the bg could be improved. Good sharpness and tones.

This is a difficult image to comment on... Let me start by saying that it's one of my 4 finalists. I LOVE the raw simplicity of this photo. The contrast is excellent and I just can't say much more about it other than I'm scoring it a 9.

Well.... Ok. Nice composition... the subtle vertical line on the left and the "curved" line on the right adds needed interest and for me makes this much more interesting.
