Maybe you walked to close to the web so the focus got screwed up. I'm sure you would've gotten an average at least 3.00 points higher. The colors in the DOF is beautifull.

The web is out of focus. I think a macro lens would have worked better. Or maybe hitting it with some water from a spray bottle?

This is such a great idea and the colours work nicely. It just seems a little bit out of focus to me.
