 I think you will know this is a fake butterfly. I expect to get some comments on that. hahah.

This is the best I could get before it fell apart. This is one of those rub-on butterfly packs you get in the craft department at Wal-mart. It has a backing that you remove but I left the backing on to make it more stable and to stop it from getting sticky on my hands.

After dropping it a lot the backing started to come off then the wings started sticking to my fingers. After that I couldnt use it but I did find one picture to work with.

I cut this one out and then waited for a clear blue sky. It was cloudy for 2 days but I finally got a sky I wanted. I put on my fisheye to get a wider view since I was using my own hand and then I held my hand upside down and dropped the butterfly. I rotated the picture in editing to make it look like it was flying away.

For those of you that dont know there is a Wings of Hope Organization. There are a lot of them but this one has a butterfly theme and where I got my idea.

Wings of Hope, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable purposes. Our primary objective is to provide ceremonial butterfly releases and programs as a means of comfort and support to other groups (non profit or otherwise) and individuals who are facing difficult circumstances. We also hope to encourage and in some specific cases, require planting of butterfly habitat with seeds and assistance from Wings of Hope, Inc.

very nice idea...good colors and focus...butterfly looks a little odd...is it a photo....its seems to be quite "flat"
