Thank you for all of the comments! Unfortunately, I decided to submit this photo at the last minute while I was on the way out the door to go to work. I basically just slapped a border on there and accidentally did a low quality RAW-JPEG conversion. This is probably why the image looks a little pixelated or out of focus.

I recognize this one! :) I'll say before what I said in the forums, I think the shot is trying to do too much. The guards with their flags is one shot, the majesty of the architecture is another. I can't remember who you are, but I remember that you loved this shot anyway, so while I'd give this a 6 ordinarily I'm bumping to a 7 because I admire that you stuck to your guns and submitted it.

Nice colors and good choice of object. I'm just not sure about the border and the focus. Good luck!

Colorful and interesting shot.

Really cool colors here. I may have preferred this in a landscape crop though, to see where the color guard was looking.

a little sharper on the faces might help, smart sharpen would work well

Interesting shot. I'm not one for the wildly saturated photos, but I'm curious what a little more saturation would look like on this one.

Aptly titled, both the guard and the photo. Fun, bright, dynamic capture. Well done.

Very dramatic use of color. Great perspective!

Good one point perspective. The colors are handled well, but there is a bit of pixellation going on which is too bad.

Those are some wild banners! Unique setting. Love all the pointy shapes everywhere. Feel it's just a bit oversaturated.

Colorful shot topped of by choice of frame. Nice job

great colors, composition is a little tight, and focus a little soft.

Colourful but the portrait framing seems to draw us away from the people to the roofline

and very nice colors at that.
