If I stare at this picture for long, I see cracks in the sky. A nice pic. Keep it up!

interesting pov- but i think the out of focus tree bark takes up too much of the photo- the branches against the sky i what i find interesting.

The new leaves and shoots are hard to spot & the trunk is a bit distracting. Maybe tighter, closer shot of the small leaves & only branches..

definitely a cool shot, but the closest branch distracts me a bit. a different crop might help bring out the few leaves towards the top of the tree

The smaller branches make interesting, abstract patterns, however the main "lump" doesn't do much for me. I don't think the new leaves make much of a visual impact -- I'd hardly have noticed them if not for your title.

Seems a little snapshot type to me. I have taken a lot of images looking up the trunk of a tree - none published in any form. This just seems to be lacking in any kind of direction.

Like how you chose the vertical shot here. The branches coming from the top add a lot for me. Seems as though we don't see all of the tree's limbs. Would have liked to have seen a bit more of the tree itself though. But I do enjoy the composition.
