Great scene...The man's excitement with the destruction really makes this!

Hahaha, great title, I'm glad you call attention to the celebratio. This is a really neat shot, so much action and emotion.
03/17/2009 05:17:15 AM
Louisville? Great shot. Unusual to have a pic of the crowd reaction rather than the falling building. Nice idea.
03/17/2009 04:09:49 AM
Haha!
03/17/2009 12:52:22 AM

Didn't make sense from the thumbnail, but now I see the guy doing the "Yessss!" motion.
03/16/2009 07:35:42 PM
excellent sharp focus front to back, and quite humorous with your title which really pulls the image together and makes it 'work'

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments now. This is a great journalistic shot showcasing the story of this demolition!! I like how you have included the human element. The man with his arms raised up in air ...I can almost here him whooping and hollering as he watches this impressive site. And it must have been quite and experience to behold not just for the people in the shot but the one taking the shot as well;-) The title made me chuckle for if he did work there he is most happy about it's demise:-)

At least it is not one of the interesting old buildings in the foreground. Nice time-critical capture. Every so often, a subject in a shot gives you an unexpected bonus. Makes me smile.

Great shot content. I love all the things working between the farthest building left and the dude just hanging at farthest right. The excited guy is an awesome balance to the vastly larger and more powerful implosion. My only nit is that the lighting overall is a bit flat.

Great capture, the contrast between the shiny new buildings and the older, unique ones is intriguingly split by the demolition. It makes you wonder if he is rejoicing over the old or new being torn down.
