Probably one of my favorite places in the state.


About this challenge, I honestly have no idea what my "best" image ever taken is. I suppose I entered this image because of my connection with this place, and warm memory of when I captured this image. I spent the entire day there with my (then) girlfriend enjoying the sun, and were rewarded with a beautiful sunset and moonrise. I captured some of my favorite images from this lighthouse that day. (Even though i was accidentally shooting at iso 800 :P )

This would be magnificent if it were a little sharper, and perhaps you'd left the shutter open a little longer to make the water really silky.

For a landscape this is way to soft. Its essential IMO to have sharp details in a landscape image. Very stable tripod and precise use of USM after resizing are the key.
