Frankly I'm surprised this did as well as it did, but thank you . I went to photograph a 1909 Cadillac that is in the same collection, but it had been placed near the door with terrible lighting, so I submitted the better lit shot of this 1924 Hispano-Suiza H6C Tulip Wood Torpedo, a full fifteen years shy of its 100th birthday, but given the choice of meeting the challenge with a lousy shot or a prettier shot that skirts the dread DNMC, I went with pretty. Sadly it was a last minute submission, and the conversion to web size gave it and oddly yellow cast.

Very warm light and nicely composed - BUT, I believe this car was made in the early 1920's...

cool picture. Although, isn't that a 1920's model? I think the older ones looked alot more like a "horseless carriage".
